A song about honouring the past, whilst simultaneously setting it free. Nostalgia is a recurring theme throughout the EP, and Inure weaves its way through a collection of fragmented, enduring but ultimately mundane memories. For St. South, Inure means embracing uncertainty and learning to sit comfortably beside loss. In her own words: “if Nervous Energy was the laying down of my love, then Inure is the excavation”.
